With spring around the corner, now might be the perfect time for a traditional spring clean?
Whether it's decluttering physical items around the home or on our digital devices, it could be the chance or excuse to give away, throw away, sell or delete anything that might be slowing you down during your day to day.
Have you used the item in the last year? Is it necessary to keep? Is it essential?
Get started with removing one item a day, and see how long you can keep it up for.
After the spring clean, or if you can't face starting this year, perhaps as a way to stay on top of things you could introduce a one in, one out policy. It's surprising how effective this can be, and raises the question of "if I'm adding something to my life, what do I no longer need that might be slowing me down or adding distraction when it's not necessary?".
A spring clean can be a very therapeutic exercise. A way to feel lighter, faster, and more nimble.
The result, tranquility, perhaps.
